Madhuri dixit ticks every Maharashtrian’s Bucket List with her long overdue debut in Marathi Cinema. AA films and Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions presents this light-hearted family entertainer, which is written and directed by Tajas Prabha Vijay Deoskar.

Bucket List is a story of Madhura Sane (Madhuri Dixit), who undergoes a heart transplant and seeks to fulfil every desire of her donor. Madhura Sane is otherwise shown as a traditional home-maker, who dedicates her life to the well-being of her family. After Madhura’s heart surgery, she learns that her donor was a 20-year-old girl, Sai, who died in a car accident. In her effort to strike every item of Sai’s bucket list, Madhura discovers her path to freedom. She realizes that life is not about adding days to your life but adding life to the days you live.

Madhuri doesn’t need any certificate for her acting abilities as she is inevitably the best. Special mention to Sumedh Mudgalkar who plays Salil Deshpande, Sai’s twin brother with a very articulate display of emotions. Also, it is a delight to watch the charming Renuka Shahane reunite with her on-screen sister from the 90s blockbuster Hum Apke Hai Kaun after over two decades.

Overall, it’s a treat for every Maharashtrian to see the best lot of actors coming together and creating a magic on screen. It is a guarantee that you would go back home with a smile on your face and positivity in your heart.
