The song, featuring Sonam Kapoor alongside Salman Khan, was an instant hit when it released in 2015. At the time, it sparked a wave of Dubsmash videos, with fans and celebrities alike recreating Sonam’s iconic hookstep from the music video. Nearly a decade later, the song continues to be a fan favourite — so much so that it has now crossed the coveted billion-views mark on the platform.
To add to the celebration, Sonam’s high-energy dance number Abhi Toh Party Shuru Hui Hai from her film Khoobsurat has also crossed 1 billion views on YouTube. Sung by Badshah and Aastha Gill, the track remains a party anthem and continues to feature in countless dance playlists and DJ mixes. Reacting to the two milestones, Sonam expressed her joy over the continued love for both songs.
