Making sure your eyes look just right takes a little bit more effort. Sore eyes, allergies, sleep deprivation, over sleeping or even crying makes them look puffy and swollen. So here are a few tips to get rid of puffy eyes!
Rest a cool washcloth on your eyelids for 7 to 10 minutes. This helps reduce the swelling of blood vessels in that area which was the cause of puffy eyes in the first place.
Gently tap the area around your eyes and massage their pressuring point lightly. Avoid rubbing cream or moisturizers that are not specifically for the eyes.
Use eye creams with ingredients, such as glycerin, vitamin C, and shea butter. Such creams are anti-inflammatory and help reduce puffiness.
Cucumber is the coolest vegetable, there is no denying that! Resting cucumber slices on your eyes for 30 minutes, soothes irritation and swelling. Potato slices work too.
Well this one’s a given. Drinking enough water and getting enough sleep is the most important way tp ensure lack of puffy eyes.
