The 2021 Tokyo Olympics have been going on a while now and India has brought home three medals back-to-back in two days. India in total has won five medals so far, two silvers and three bronze. 23 years old wrestler Ravi Kumar Dahiya faught against Zavur Uguev (Russian Olympics Committee) in men’s 57kg category and won the silver medal.
Ending the 41 years wait for a medal in Hockey, Indian men’s Hockey team has won a bronze by beating Germany 5-4 in a gripping match. Becoming only the third Indian boxer to achieve such a huge success, Lovlina Borgohain Bags Bronze Medal against Busenaz Surmeneli after reaching semi-finals in the women’s 64-69kg welterweight.
All these medals were a massive win for India and own B-town celebs absolutely agree! Our favourite actors took to Instagram to congratulate the winners. Actors like Akshay Kumar, Varun Dhawan, Deepika Padukone, Anil Kapoor, Anushka Sharma Ranveer Singh etc. celebrating the wins and showing their gratitude towards these spectacular athletes.
