Pooja Hegde is on a roll with big-ticket releases with Shahid Kapoor, Suriya and Ahan Shetty
Pan-India star Pooja Hegde is poised for a blockbuster year with three highly anticipated films on the anvil — Deva, Sanki and Suriya 44 — and three more big-ticket projects yet to be announced. Known for her impeccable performances in films like ‘Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo’ and ‘Beast,’ Pooja is set to enthral audiences with her diverse roles and fresh pairings. Fans have a lot to look forward to, with Pooja sharing the screen with actors like Shahid Kapoor in ‘Deva,’ Ahan Shetty in ‘Sanki,’ and Suriya in ‘Suriya 44.’
‘Deva,’ directed by Rosshan Andrrews and produced by Zee Studios and Roy Kapur Films, is an action-packed thriller set for a Dussehra release this October. ‘Sanki,’ featuring Pooja opposite Ahan Shetty, is produced by Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment and directed by the duo Adnan A. Shaikh and Yasir Jah, with a script by Rajat Arora. ‘Sanki’ is set to hit theatres on February 14, 2025.
In ‘Suriya 44,’ Pooja teams up with acclaimed director Karthik Subbaraj and popular actor Suriya. This much-anticipated project, which has already generated significant buzz, showcases Subbaraj’s unique directorial style and Suriya’s powerful screen presence.
A source close to the actress shared, “Pooja has been very wise in choosing her scripts. Each role she takes on is not only pivotal to the story but also allows her to showcase a versatility that fans have never seen before.
