The rollercoaster of laughs just keeps on coming as Dubai Comedy Festival introduces an exciting new dimension for its 2025 edition. Ensuring everyone can find something to laugh about, the festival has announced several additional junior shows designed for kids, families, and teens. Taking place in October at the New Covent Garden venues at Mall of the Emirates, the newest additions feature seven engaging, interactive, and laugh-out-loud award-winning acts for a variety of age groups on the weekends.

Previously announced shows include global headliners Tom Segura, Zakir Khan, Joanne McNally, Morgan Jay, Omid Djalili, John Achkar, Mo Amer, Redouane Bougheraba, Amer Zahr, Ivan Abramov, Gaurav Kapoor, and more.

Adding to the already stacked lineup, the festival will debut a wave of family-friendly shows, including Melbourne’s goofiest duo Stuff!, futuristic Con Coutis, weird but wonderful MUSH, award-winning 101 Ways to Annoy Your Parents, musical comedian Jonny Awsum: The Kids Show, surreal sketch circus Laser Kiwi, and  America’s Got Talent finalist Tape Face. With performances catering to all ages, the festival promises to deliver a comedy experience that everyone, from toddlers to teens to parents, can enjoy together.

WEEKEND 1 – OCTOBER 4TH & 5TH 

Tape Face
Created by Sam Wills, Tape Face is a silent, eccentric character whose comedy transcends the boundaries of age, language, and culture. A finalist on America’s Got Talent, this curious fellow has captured the hearts of audiences spanning from London to Las Vegas with his quirky nature that sees every object and audience member as a potential friend. Taking inspiration from silent film, mime, magic, and puppetry, Tape Face makes shoes sing, empty dresses dance, and electrical tape blossoms into roses, creating a world where anything is possible. Now joining the Dubai Comedy Festival at New Covent Garden Theatre on October 4th and 5th, Tape Face is ready to charm a new region of comedy fans with his globally acclaimed, laugh-out-loud show.

Stuff!
Get ready for some interactive comedic fun as ‘Stuff!’, Melbourne’s goofiest duo, aka Jon & Jero, bring their epic adventure to the New Covent Garden Theatre stage on October 4th and 5th. The hour-long show invites kids and parents alike to be swept up in a hilarious tale of two bumbling brothers on a mission to recover their stolen stuff. Venturing across strange and wonderful lands and encountering a whirlwind of silly antics, quirky characters, and unexpected twists, the audience is encouraged to lend the pair a helping hand along the way. Packed with physical comedy, music, improvisation, and most importantly, Stuff!, this hilarious journey challenges guests of all ages to get creative and laugh out loud while doing it.

Con Coutis
Taking place on October 4th and 5th at the Playhouse Studio Theatre, Con Coutis brings you on a side-splitting trip to the future. Set 50 years after a meteor wipes out every comedian but one, the Government revives the last-known comic, Con Coutis, from cryosleep in a final attempt to bring laughter back to the world. With cutting-edge surround sound and clever audio cues, this wildly original show flips traditional comedy on its head, delivering a futuristic, sonically charged, and hilariously unexpected experience.
