Popular ad filmmaker and director Raj Kaushal passed away on Wednesday morning (June 30) after suffering a cardiac arrest. He is survived by wife, actress Mandira Bedi and children Veer and Tara. Tributes poured in from industry friends and well-wishers.
Filmmaker Onir tweeted, “Gone too soon. We lost Film maker and Producer @rajkaushal1 this morning. Very Sad. He was one of the producers of my first film #MyBrotherNikhil. One of those few who believed in our vision and supported us. Prayers for his soul.”
Rohit Roy, Divya Dutta, Tisca Chopra, Roshan Abbas were amongst the several others who shared emotional posts on their social media and offered their condolences.
The ad filmmaker has to his credit as many as 800 commercials and he had also directed three Bollywood films including Mandira Bedi starrer Shaadi Ka Laddoo.
