John Abraham’s Satyameva Jayate 2 release postponed; clash with Salman Khan starrer Radhe averted

The action thriller that was slated for an Eid release on May 13 has been postponed due to rise in Covid-19 cases

Amidst growing cases of the Covid-19 in India, makers of Satyameva Jayate 2 have postponed the theatrical release of their film. The John Abraham starrer that was slated to release on Eid, May 13 this year has now been pushed ahead amid the rising covid-19 cases in India. Announcing the same, the makers shared the post that read:

“In these unprecedented times, nothing matters more than the safety and health of our countrymen & patrons. Our film “Satyameva Jayate 2” will now release on a later date. Till then let’s keep our masks on and do our best to keep our loved ones and ourselves out of harm’s way. Jai Hind. – Team SMJ2.”

With this a major Box Office clash between John Abraham and Salman Khan has been averted as Satyamev Jayate 2 and Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai were releasing on the same date – May 13.

While John’s Milap Zaveri film is a sequel of his Satyamev Jayate and stars Divya Kumar Khosla, Salman’s Prabhudeva directorial is the sequel of his earlier hit Wanted and has him paired with Disha Patani.
