After six and a half years of marriage, Kim Kardashian West filed for divorce in the Los Angeles Superior Court. The pair had been facing troubles for the past year and have also been living apart for the last few months according to reports. Kim and Kanye have also undergone marriage counseling before Kim filed for divorce.
Kim’s family has been her support system with momager Kris being Kim’s rock as she understands the demanding process of divorce.
West and Kardashian tied the knot during an elaborate ceremony in 2014 in Florence Italy, right before West’s Yeezus concert in San Jose. The two have four children together; North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm. It was West’s first marriage, and third for Kim.
The spouses have agreed on joint custody, and the split is very amicable according to reports. Kim’s attorney, Laura Wasser who has represented Kim was not available for comment.
