Louis Tomlinson switches record labels

Louis Tomlinson recently announced that he will be releasing his second album globally with BMG record label.

“We are delighted to welcome Louis to BMG. He is already busy working on new music, and we are excited to join him on the next phase of his extraordinary career.” — Jamie Nelson, VP A&R, at BMG UK

The portfolio of BMG includes artists such as Avril Lavigne, The Rolling Stones, David Bowie and now Louis Tomlinson who was previously affiliated with Syco.

The recording of this new album is already afoot. His first album Walls (2020) charted on no. 4 in the UK and sold around 49,027 copies. He also sold over 100 Million records when he was a part of the once, world’s biggest boyband, One Direction.

Louies, the loyal self named fans of Tomlinson are ecstatic after knowing that a new date (April 22) has been announced at London’s SSE Arena Wembley after replacing two sold out shows. The tickets go on sale on Friday, May 14 at 9am.

The incredibly talented singer/songwriter has also dropped the dates for his 2022 World Tour for UK, USA, Australia and Europe. He had to postpone his 2020 tour dates due to the Covid—19 pandemic but appeased fans with a live stream concert which he sold over 160,000 tickets in over 100 countries. The gains from the sales went to several important charities.

We are extremely proud of Louis and immensely excited for his new album and the upcoming tour!
