Neeraj Kabi – who garnered much fanfare with his role as the hardened cop DCP Dilip Parulkar in Sacred Games – has hit bullseye with the audience once again. This time around, the actor has been garnering much acclaim as the suave senior television journalist Sanjeev Mehra in the hit web-series Paatal Lok produced by Anushka Sharma. And now it looks like Kabi is set to strike a hattrick on the OTT platform. The Ship of Theseus actor is starring in a Hollywood web-series and has in fact already shot a few episodes for it early this year in March.
Talking about it Kabi says, “Yes, I’m doing a Hollywood web-series and I’m very excited about it. It’s an amazing role. We have already shot for the beginning episodes and post lockdown that’s what I will resume. It’s a beautiful project with an ensemble international cast of which five actors will be regulars, so we will be there in all the nine episodes. All I can say is that it’s a big production house and a big channel, and yes, I’m looking forward to resuming the shoot post lockdown.”
However, it’s not just this mega web-series that has Kabi excited. Hollywood aside, the actor is also looking forward to kickstarting his Bollywood film here. Though reluctant to reveal much, the actor shares that the shoot will start post the lockdown. “Yes, I’m also doing a Hindi feature film with a leading actress of the industry, and I can’t name her or reveal the film right now,” adds Kabi, who has also been part of several other Bollywood films including Detective Byomkesh Bakshi, Talvar and Hichki.
