The star was shooting in Chandigarh for Jug Jugg Jeeyo along with senior star Neetu Kapoor who has also tested positive for the Coronavirus
Bollywood stars Varun Dhawan and Neetu Kapoor, as well as director Raj Mehta have tested COVID-19 positive while on the sets of their film Jug Jugg Jeeyo in Chandigarh. Their co-stars Anil Kapoor and Kiara Advani however thankfully have tested negative. Varun – who is currently recovering in quarantine – took to Instagram to share a heartfelt post.
“So as I returned to work in the pandemic era I have contracted #covid_19 All precautions were taken by the production but still nothing is certain in life especially not covid-19. So please be extra careful I believe I could have been more careful. I see the get well soon messages and my spirits are high taking each day at a time. thank u,” he posted.
The shoot of the film was halted and has now been postponed. Besides, the four stars, the film also features Maniesh Paul and YouTuber Prajakta Koli who is making her Bollywood debut with Jug Jugg Jeeyo.
