Exploring the make up world all by yourself can be a little intimidating. But, that’s why we’re here to guide you through your first steps! There are some things that one should keep in mind as a MUA beginner and here’s the list!
— Clean your face
The most important thing before the main make up routine is; always wash your face first. Applying make up on pollution ridden, unclean face is harmful for the skin.
— Foundation
Make sure the primer you use compliments your foundation. It’s important for them to blend which is prevented if your primer and foundation don’t share the same base, i.e. water or oil.
— Exfoliate
Be certain to exfoliate your lips before applying your shade for the day. Exfoliating helps remove dead cells and give your lips a softer texture.
— Even things out
Whatever you apply, be is contour, concealer, primer or foundation, make sure you apply it evenly. Uneven base at the start takes your routine in the wrong direction.
— Keep is simple
For your first make up routine keep the eyeshadow relatively simple and steady. Choose a single shade for first one and work up to it in your other routines.
