His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai, on Wednesday inaugurated seven new metro stations of Route 2020.
The stations will be open to the public in September.
On his official Twitter account, HH Sheikh Mohammed added that 47 months ago, an announcement was made regarding the new project to increase the stations of the Red Line of Metro Dubai.
“Dh11 billion is the cost of the project, 12,000 engineers and technicians, 50 trains, 7 stations and 125,000 commuters daily, and after 80 million working hours, we provide what we promised on time, as we promised,” Sheikh Mohammed added.
“We say what we do, and do what we say, this is Dubai,” Sheikh Mohammed tweeted.
In a video on his official Twitter account, HH Sheikh Mohammed can be seen visiting the new stations of the Red Line of Dubai metro.
