Birthday Special: 5 movies to watch for your Brad Pitt Movie Marathon!

Whether it’s making us cry in The Tree of Life, impressing us with his moves in Fury, or making us laugh in Mr. and Mrs. Smith, Brad Pitt has stolen our hearts in a hundred different ways, with all his different roles. The Oscar Award-winning actor and producer turns 57 today! Since his debut in the 1991 movie, Thelma & Louise, Brad Pitt has consistently impressed us with his performances. On his birthday, let’s take a look at 5 of his best movies!

Ad Astra (2019):

The Oscar-nominated psychological fiction drama is one that will have your heart broken and mended as you watch Brad Pitt search for his lost father. From a movie that aims to give you the most realistic depiction of space to a story that is surrounded by the subtle tones of love, family, sacrifice, and the indescribable feeling of home, Ad Astra will have you swooning over the movie, and of course, Brad Pitt.

The Curious Case of Benjamin Button (2008):

Seeing the story of Button, a boy who ages in reverse can seem a bit unrealistic, even unrelatable. But Brad Pitt makes you believe and feel for the little boy who feels out of place as a child, the teenager who watches his friends age while he doesn’t, and the man who can never call a place home, lest the ones close to him deserve his secret. A heartwarming watch, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button is a tearjerker in the best sense.

Fight Club (1999):

If we could all have a friend like Tyler Durden, is it possible our lives could be a whole lot better? Someone who voices our true desires, tells us the real deal without sugarcoating, and a wingman for life? The psychological movie will make you wish for a Tyler Durden in the form of Brad Pitt by your side. The cult classic was and will always remain one of Brad Pitt’s best performances.

Seven (1995):

The neo-noir psychological thriller starring Morgan Freeman and Brad Pitt will blow your mind, to say the least. Brad Pitt’s portrayal of a man who is short-tempered yet believes in the good within people, is entertaining to watch. As he navigates through the movie as a detective who is playing mind games with a deranged killer, we see Brad Pitt make his character more nuanced with each scene.

The Inglorious Basterds (2009):

From Quentin Tarantino’s direction, the storyline, to Brad Pitt’s witty, stark, and perfect portrayal of Lieutenant Aldo Raine, The Inglorious Basterds is a cinematic masterpiece. This movie was Brad Pitt and Quentin Tarantino’s first collaboration together, and they nailed it on their first collab itself. The Oscar-nominated movie is a war film that will keep you at the edge of your seat the whole way.

We wish the charming and talented Brad Pitt a very happy birthday!
