Bollywood Reacts to the Air Strikes!

In the early hours of dawn, a group of Mirage 2000 fighter jets of the Indian Air Force (IAF) crossed Pakistan’s Line of Control to destroy terrorist camps with a surgical strike.

The strikes were a response to the terrorist attack in the Pulwama district of Jammu and Kashmir earlier this month which claimed the lives of 40 Indian Air Force soldiers.

As tensions between the two nations arise, Bollywood celebrities get to twitter to share their thoughts and messages about the emerging conflict.

“Respect @IAF_MCC Indian Air Force… Jai ho !!!” tweets Salman Khan.

 

Akshay Kumar tweeted saying: “Proud of our fighters for destroying terror camps. अंदर घुस के मारो ! Quiet no more! ”

 

Renowned Indian author, Chetan Bhagat made a tweet about the news, saying – Great job by the IAF. And great choice of words by govt “non-military preemptive action against terrorists (and not against Pak)”. Makes it difficult for Pak to escalate. Josh and Hosh both on display. Very well done.
