There is nothing better than having our favourite directors and storytelling come together through anthology movies and series. As we anxiously await the two Tamil anthology projects Paava Kadhaigal and Navarasa by Mani Ratnam and Jayendra Panchapakesan, let’s take a look at the best Indian anthology projects to watch:

Lust Stories, Netflix (2018): 

With beautiful stories from Dibakar Banerjee, Karan Johar, Anurag Kashyap, and Zoya Akhtar, Lust Stories tells 4 different stories of attraction, relationships, and love. In a sequel anthology to Bombay Talkies and Lust Stories, Ghost Stories by Dibakar Banerjee, Karan Johar, Anurag Kashyap, and Zoya Akhtar tells 4 thought-provoking yet horrific stories with a cast of  Mrunal Thakur, Avinash Tiwary, Janhvi Kapoor, Raghuvir Yadav, Sobhita Dhulipala, Vijay Varma and Pavail Gulati.

Kaun Hai? Voot (2018): 

Produced by Contiloe Pictures, the company that gave us horror gems like Shhh… Phir Koi Hai and Fear Files, Kaun Hai? is a horror anthology series telling a few real-life paranormal incidents along with fictional stories of science and fantasy. Each 40-minute horror story will send a chill down your spine. 

Katha Sangama, Amazon Prime Video (2019): 

An ode to Puttana Kanagal, one of the greatest filmmakers of India, Katha Sangama is a Kannada anthology movie telling 7 stories of family drama through the direction of Kiranraj K, Chandrajith Belliappa, Shashi Kumar P, Rahul PK, Jamadagni Manoj, Karan Ananth, Jayashankar A. The movie, featuring  Hariprriya, Rishab Shetty, Kishore, Raj B. Shetty, Yagna Shetty, Prakash Belawadi, Avinash, Balaji Manohar, Pramod Shetty, Hari Samasthi, and others tells 7 stories revolving around a father’s dream to build a fantasy land.
