Yesteryear actor Dilip Kumar, who was rushed to the Lilavati hospital in Bandra, due to chest congestion, has been discharged. The news of him being admitted was shared by the actor’s friend, Faisal Farooqui, on his Twitter handle.

Now, as per a report in Times Of India, Dilip, who was diagnosed with pneumonia, still cannot consume solid food. As recommended by doctors, the actor has to be fed through his nasal feed. Well, this news comes as a sigh of relief for us and the millions of Kumar’s fans, who had been praying for his speedy recovery. Not only us, Dilip saab’s wife, Saira Banu, who has been with him throughout, must be relieved with the news of improvement in his health.
A few days ago, his wife and veteran actress Saira Banu had given a health update about him to a leading news channel saying, “Yes please do pray. His congestion is a bit improved with strong medication and we have to yet improve much more for a good recovery Inshallah. Thank you for the good wishes.”
