DIY remedies with Green Tea

Green tea, as we’ve all heard, is a great antioxidant. Green tea is great for clear skin, not only when consumed but also when applied in the form of a mask or scrub. Let’s see how you can make them:

Exfoliating face scrub
To make an exfoliating face mask, brew some green tea, and cool it down completely. Add tablespoons of brown sugar to it and a teaspoon of olive oil. Gently scrub it on your face in a circular motion. Then wash it off with warm water. The green tea will help make your skin radiant and the sugar will help improve circulation.

Rejuvenating Face Mask
To make a mask that will make your skin glow, add a tablespoon of green tea leaves (removed from a soaked teabag), a teaspoon of baking soda, and a tablespoon of honey. Mix the ingredients well. If they’re too dry, add a bit of green tea to it. Apply the mask and keep it for 20 minutes before rinsing it off with some warm water.

Green Tea Bags for Dark Circles
Frozen green tea bags are great to reduce puffiness in eyes and dark circles. Just freeze a used tea bag and gently press it under your eyes. The best time to do this is in the morning.

Body Scrub
Mix two tablespoons of green tea leaves with two tablespoons of curd, a tablespoon of honey. Mix them thoroughly and then use it as a scrub in the shower. The scrub removes dead skin cell and cleans pores

A scrub that can be stored
Mix green tea leaves from two used teabags with three tablespoons of sugar and a third a cup of water. Pack the scrub in an airtight container and store it for whenever you feel necessary.
