The television star reveals how she came up with this fun concept!
While several actors are waiting to resume their projects post the lockdown, actress Donal Bisht has found a creative way reach out to her fans and keep them entertained. The Dil Toh Happy Hai Ji star recently came up with a micro web-series along with her producer-actor friend, Akshat Saluja. Titled Tia and Raj, this fun micro-web series is already garnering much fan-fare.
Thrilled with the appreciation coming her way from the viewers, the actress talked about creating the micro web-series. Talking about how she stumbled upon the idea to make Tia and Raj, Donal says, “I’m a very productive person, and since I was alone at my Mumbai home when the shoots came to a halt because of the lockdown, I thought it would be great to make a fun micro web series with my friend Akshat Saluja. What initially started as a means to do something fun, turned out surprisingly good! I think the viewers also enjoyed the simple and sweet storyline.”
The pretty actress also thinks that micro web-series are the next big thing in the entertainment zone. She says, “The whole idea of micro web-series is to deliver a heavy dose of entertainment in a short span of time. And I think that goes perfectly in sync with today’s fast-paced generation that seeks instant gratification. Tia and Raj has been made keeping in mind these pointers, and we’re glad that the idea worked well.”
Meanwhile Donal has kept herself very productive throughout the lockdown and has even initiated a mental health campaign to help her followers through their emotional turmoil due to the ‘lockdown stress’.
