Dubai is Ready to Welcome Tourists!

Start spreading the word, travels to Dubai are officially back on! Dubai Tourism has just announced that they will be welcoming visitors from overseas from early July as safety measures gradually ease up. A short video was released by Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum on Twitter to break the great news. Measures are also put in place to ensure the utmost safety for all passengers during their travels.

It’s time to pack your bags and grab your sunscreen (and masks too!) because we’re all set to have an amazing start to the season! Here are some of our recommendations for how you can make your journey in Dubai one to remember!

Hit the beach!

Craving a dip in the water? Dubai has opened up all the major beaches (including JBR beach, Al Mamzar, Jumeirah and Umm Suqeim) to the public provided everyone follows the safety guidelines enforced by the government. So, you no longer need to google pictures of the beach and fantasise about soaking in some sun, just grab your bathing suit and face mask and enjoy the city’s magnificent beaches.

Malls

Dubai has an impressive range of shopping malls for visitors to enjoy. Dubai Mall, Mall of the Emirates, Ibn Battuta and Deira City Centre are just a few of the exceptional malls the city has to offer. Make sure to catch The Dubai Fountain in Dubai Mall which has been an incredibly popular tourist attraction for years since its launch. It is a mesmerising experience that you will cherish forever. Packed with a massive selection of stores, restaurants and play areas for your children to enjoy, malls will be a significant part of your stay in Dubai!

Restaurants

Almost all your favourite restaurants are back in business so if you fancy some fine dining with your loved ones, there are plenty of options to choose from! Our recommendations are the Buddha-Bar at Grosvenor House with a delectable menu and beautiful views of the Dubai Marina. And if you’re in a mood for some Karaoke to your favourite tunes, Miss Wang on Mankhool road is perfect for you! Ruya Dubai in Grosvenor House is also spectacular if you love Turkish cuisine.
