Fish Market Seafood Restaurant: Check out Dubai’s longest-standing seafood restaurant

Dubai’s dining scene is always changing. And this pandemic has actually made us appreciate and celebrate this city’s some of the few longstanding restaurants like Fish Market Seafood Restaurant at the Radisson Blu Hotel Dubai Deira Creek.

The restaurant has been open for 32 years now and still enjoys a very loyal following! It has certainly survived the highs and lows of the local restaurant scene, and has managed to maintain the quality of food and service. The Fish Market Seafood Restaurant opened in 1989 and has since served well over than one million kilos of fish, 600,000 kilos of prawns, and has shucked over 150,000 oysters.

YUMMILICIOUS: Enjoy the Seafood Market Platter

Fish Market then versus Fish Market after renovation in 2018:

The restaurant’s interactive market concept has proven to be incredibly successful throughout these years with patrons loving the fact that they can choose the freshest catch of the day, and the chef cooks it as they like it! While this dining experience still remains, they have now also launched a brand new menu, which features several main course and platter options too.

Moreover, this new menu includes all-time favourites of loyal Fish Market guests, healthy and vegetarian options, as well as sharing plates and exciting new dishes to look out for such as the Honey & Miso Glazed Black Cod Fillet, Chef’s Special Seafood Platter, and The Fisherman’s Basket. There are also a few dishes which will be prepared live by the chef – such as the Pacific Prawns grilled a la minute, and the luscious Zabaione, a wonderful Italian dessert made of velvety custard cream served over fresh strawberries.

Not only can the guests have a delicious meal, but when they dine at Fish Market, they are also supporting responsible fishing and sustainably sourced seafood.

Chef Uwe Micheel, Director of Kitchens & President of Emirates Culinary Guild says, “Fish Market became the first member of the World Wildlife Fund Sustainable Seafood program in Dubai. The focus of the restaurant has and will always be to serve locally and sustainably sourced seafood, supporting responsible fishing for both wild-caught and farmed seafood with the aim to harvest with zero environmental impact.
