A new covid-19 test facility has started in Abu Dhabi International Airport for all arriving passengers. This facility provides not only free PCR tests but also the results will be out in approximately 90 minutes. This facility is marked as the fastest in the world when it comes to the Covid-19 tests.
This was confirmed by the Abu Dhabi Media Office via their social media platforms, that Abu Dhabi launched a new free rapid PCR Covid-19 Test for all those who arrive at the Abu Dhabi airports, with results provided by the region’s first in-airport laboratory in 90 minutes.
Travellers to Abu Dhabi need to take a Covid-19 PCR before departure in not more than 96 hours. A print-out of the negative test results is a must. All passengers arriving at the airport will have to undergo an additional PCR test. People arriving at the airport through terminals 1 and 3 will be tested at the airport’s facility and results shall be shared by SMS and WhatsApp, the result will be available on the Alhosn mobile application as well.
