Hrithik Roshan’s 5 Life Changing Moments

Our cover boy for October 2020 edition Hrithik Roshan shares with us his 5 life-changing moments

Lakshya

I was in a completely different space in this film. Farhan Akhtar knows his skill and he put me in a space where I had two different roles in the same film. My character goes through a complete transformation from being a carefree, spoilt, clueless youngster to being an important soldier in the Indian army.

Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara

Zoya made me confront my biggest fears in this film. She pushes me in the right direction. The content of the film was as real as it was unusual. The challenges the friends pose to each other became a norm with audiences. They started confronting their fears too.

Kaabil

The film happened at an important juncture of my life. I was getting into a cliched mode. All actors fall prey to their own image- the way they walk, the way they talk, the way they get out of the car, wave to the crowd etc- my coach ….. helped me break the mould. All my films post Kaabil have been different that’s why.

Super 30

It came as a surprise. I put on weight, darkened my skin, walked and spoke differently. I was hugely inspired by this real-life character who was a real life superhero – he transformed people’s lives by educating them and uplifting their poverty stricken conditions.

War

I worked very hard on the film because my role had a student like Tiger Shroff to match up to. Tiger is hugely inspiring and I admire his dedication and am extremely proud of him. I had put on kilos for Super 30 and had to get back in shape and be ready for the extreme stunts the role demanded. It all happened in good time.
