From Amitabh Bachchan to Ananya Panday, Bollywood celebrities took to their social media today to celebrate the women in their lives this International Woman’s Day.
Anushka Sharma shared a special message for her mother on Instagram. Posting a throwback, the actress wrote, “Let’s celebrate the strong ones, the silently resilient ones, the ones who break themselves down to become better, more aware nurturers. The ones through whom we have all come to be. The mothers !”
Kareena Kapoor Khan treated fans with the first pic of her newborn son. The actress wrote, “There’s nothing women can’t do. Happy Women’s Day my loves.”
Amitabh Bachchan shared a beautiful collage of all the women in his life including mother Teji Bachchan, wife Jaya Bachchan, daughter Shweta, daughter-in-law Aishwarya and granddaughters Navya and Aaradhya to wish them on International Women’s Day. The superstar said that women’s day should be every day.
Varun Dhawan took the opportunity to not only celebrate the women in his life, captioning the post with “Happy women’s day. Bharatiya naari sab pe bhaari. It’s great that we all post pictures on social media and make this day special but the real job will be done when we actually make our country safe for women.”
Taking to Twitter Bollywood actor Ajay Devgn wished their fans on International Women’s Day 2021.
Jahnvi Kapoor wrote, “This Women’s Day let’s accept and celebrate all definitions of what makes us beautiful. Navigate through our relationship with beauty to celebrate all our imperfections that make us perfect and beautiful! Ananya Panday shared a heartwarming post for her Dadi and Nani. she wrote, “The epitome of grace, beauty, perseverance, humor, badass energy and boss woman vibes my Dadi and Nani – Happy Women’s day to my best and happy Women’s Day to all the lovely ladies out there – you are so very special and everything you need is right inside of you. I love you guys u rock (sic).”
