Buzz is that the Pakistani star is set to join the cast of the Disney plus series that features Iman Vellani as Marvel’s first Muslim superhero
Close on the heels of buzz about Bollywood star Farhan Akhtar being a part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, come reports of Pakistani actor Fawad Khan also hopping on to the MCU bandwagon. Buzz is that the Pakistani heartthrob will join the super-hero series that interestingly features Iman Vellani as Marvel’s first Muslim superhero.
Though there’s not been any confirmation on that yet, the IMDB cast features Fawad Khan’s name, listing him to playing a character named Hassan.
The six-episode superhero series has been creating quite a buzz with Canadian star Iman Vellani of Pakistani origin set to play the titular character. She will be seen playing Kamala Khan, a Pakistani-American teen from New Jersey. Inspired by her role-model, Captain Marvel (Brie Larson) Kamala takes on the crime scene as Ms. Marvel.
