The talk is that Ranveer Singh is all set to reunite with Alia Bhatt for director, Karan Johar’s next film. If everything goes as planned, the movie will go on the floors by the month of June/July and will be shot at some real locations in India.
Saif Ali Khan’s son, Ibrahim has come on board as an assistant director on this Karan Johar film to understand the process of filmmaking. Last year Ibrahim completed his first professional photoshoot for a clothing brand.In pictures where Ibrahim was seen wearing black coloured hoodie and also donned a white polo neck Tee shirt.
Apparently Ranveer in the film is going to sport a complete modern cool look with all those jackets, glares, hats, torn jeans, whereas Alia’s character is said to be subtler. The project is said to be a light hearted, love story, Dharma style. After leaving the audience awe-struck with their performances in Zoya Akhtar’s Gully Boy together, the two will surely garner eyeballs for their work in Karan’s film.
Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh were to be seen together in Johar’s magnum opus Takht. However, after that movie was delayed, Johar decided to shift his focus toward this film. and make a fun commercial rom-com that Bollywood is devoid of at the moment.
