Janhvi Kapoor delighted fans with a remarkable surprise, as she took to her social media platform to share a rather magical video as she promoted Disney’s upcoming live-action movie The Little Mermaid. The Bollywood star stepped into the magical world of Princess Ariel as a fan and magically fits into it for her young fans, as she recites, ‘Machhli Jal Ki Rani Hai…’
She says, “My Friends, Khushi and I have grown up watching and reading about Disney Princesses and Princess Ariel is one of my absolute favourites! I just love her colourful, fun spirit and how she goes about achieving her dreams. I cannot wait to watch the film and relive my childhood with my girlfriends!”
The movie The Little Mermaid directed by Rob Marshall, features Halle Bailey as Ariel, Melissa McCarthy as Ursula, Jonah Hauer-King as Prince Eric, Javier Bardem as King Triton, Daveed Diggs as Sebastian, Jacob Tremblay as Flounder, Awkwafina as Scuttle, Noma Dumezweni, and Jude Akuwudike. Disney India is set to release The Little Mermaid on May 26th, 2023.
