Netflix has just dropped the first trailer of Season 5 of the much-awaited series Money Heist. The Season 4 of Álex Pina’s hit Spanish thriller series – called La Casa De Papel – had ended on a cliffhanger note where Alicia Sierra (played by Najwa Nimri) is close to arresting The Professor (played by Álvaro Morte), who seems to have no plans to escape.

The Money Heist Season 5 Trailer Review: The sharply-cut 90-second trailer of the web series gives us a glimpse of what lies ahead in the upcoming final season and only builds up that excitement. With strong emotional undertones, it doesn’t really reveal anything of what to expect other than confirming that ‘Surrendering is not an option’ for the gang who seems to have no way out and have been cornered, even though Lisbon (Itziar Ituño) had been saved. They have been shut in the Bank of Spain for over 100 hours, with the army gaining in on them.
“Locked up for a hundred hours, trapped, about to be killed, and having lost a best friend, it feels like a hundred years have gone by,” read the subtitles. The Money Heist Season 5 will be shown in two different volumes. The first part with 5 episodes will be aired on September 3, while the Volume 2 of 5 episodes will stream three months apart on December 3.
The cast of Money Heist Season 5 includes Úrsula Corberó (who plays Tokyo), Miguel Herrán (as Rio), Jaime Lorente (as Denver), Esther Acebo (as Stockholm), Hovik Keuchkerian (as Bogota), Rodrigo de la Serna (as Palermo), Belén Cuesta (as Manila), Enrique Arce (as Arturo), Darko Peric (as Helsinki), Luka Peros (as Marseille), Fernando Cayo (as Coronel Tamayo), and José Manuel Poga (as Gandía), while Miguel Ángel Silvestre and Patrick Criado are the two new additions.
