The ‘Busy Busy’ singer’s latest song is a soulful, romantic number that’s been shot underwater
Neha Pandey recently released her latest single ‘Yaad Aayi’ and in the singer’s own words, “It’s a genre I’ve tried for the first time.” Known for her peppy and groovy tracks, Neha’s newest offering is a romantic soulful number set to the lyrics of Syed Gulrez’s beautiful poem.
Neha’s melodious voice brings to the fore the longing that the poem talks about. The song in itself has been aesthetically shot. Excited about the release of her new single, Neha tells us, “‘Yaad Aayi’ is a song where it was important to translate the beauty of the poem on screen. We decided to shoot a few sequences underwater and Nikon supported me there. It was shot by Nikon MEA on their z6 cameras. They brought my vision to life and I am happy with the way the song has turned out.”
Neha hits all the right notes and the song lingers on long after. The song is likely to find a spot in the music lists of the romantics.
