Birthday Special: 5 Must-Watch Movies for John Abraham’s fans!

Since his debut with Jism in 2003 till the long list of hits he’s delivered, starting from Dhoom in 2004, John Abraham has stolen our hearts with his chiseled physique and phenomenal acting and action scenes. Today, the recipient of the National Film Award and Filmfare Award turns 48! On his birthday, let’s take a look at 5 of his best movies!

Madras Cafe (2013):

An action-thriller following the assassination of former Indian prime minister, Rajiv Gandhi. Shoojit Sircar’s direction and John Abraham’s portrayal of Major Vikram Singh brought us closer to the event that changed the course of political history in India. Even though Major Vikram Singh was a fictitious addition to the movie, the role itself was a novel one for John Abraham. Regardless, Abraham nailed the role and stunned his audiences.

Parmanu: The Story of Pokhran (2018):

One of John Abraham’s best action movies, the movies follows the story of the nuclear bomb test explosions the Indian Army carried out in Pokhran. From playing the naive, yet righteous  IAS officer to the clever, yet patriotic officer, John Abraham killed it with his acting!

Rocky Handsome (2016):

A heartwarming story that is also an action-thriller, John Abraham played the part of the mysterious pawnshop owner who is pulled into the world of drugs and mafia, simply by accepting an item to sell. From the way, he fought with his antagonists to the softness he needed when speaking to a little child, John Abraham perfectly balanced his character’s yin and yang.

Taxi No. 9211 (2006):

A dramedy starring Nana Patekar and John Abraham, the 2006 movie left you laughing till you cry. The chemistry and banter between Abraham and Patekar is just one of the reasons the movie should be on your must-watch list. Depicting the significance of what truly matters in life — love, friendship, and family.

Force 2 (2016):

Action, vengeance, and victory. The 2016 movie starring John Abraham, Sonakshi Sinha, and Tahir Raj Bhasin has all the ingredients necessary for a thrilling watch. While John Abraham and Bhasin’s cat and mouse chase was a class apart, John Abraham’s acting in itself and his chemistry with Sonakshi Sinha as the two threats alongside each are a treat to watch.

We wish the handsome and talented actor a very happy birthday!
