Ever since Adipurush was first announced, the mega-budget film has piqued the curiosity of movie-buffs across Pan-India. The film that brings together South star Prabhas with Bollywood stars Saif Ali Khan, Kriti Sanon and Sunny Singh has created quite a buzz in the industry too. Directed by Om Raut and bankrolled by T-Series, the film is said to be a fantasy epic based on Ramayana.
And as per reports, the film will see both the lead actors Prabhas and Saif undergo major physical transformations for their roles in the film. Insiders insist that the two will surprise all with the massive transformations. While Prabhas plays Rama, Saif plays Ravana. The film sees Saif reunite with his Tanhaji director after their 2020 hit together.
The film also stars Kriti Sanon as Sita and Sunny Singh as Lakshman. Buzz is that 30 per cent of the film’s shoot had been completed maintaining strict Covid-19 protocols and according to insiders, masks and sanitization have been the order of the day at all times on the sets.
The film was recently also in news when a part of the film’s set had burnt down in a fire mishap. The film was being shot in Mumbai, when the sets in city suburbs had caught fire.
