It was in 2018 that Priyanka Chopra Jonas had shared the cover picture of her memoir Unfinished when she announced it on her Instagram handle on June 20. Today, the global icon took to Twitter to announce its completion. The actress shared that she has finished writing her memoir and revealed that the final manuscript has been done and sent. Excited about the announcement Priyanka posted that she can’t wait to share it and tweeted, “Unfinished is finished! Just about sent in the final manuscript! Wheee! Cannot wait to share it with you all. Every word in my memoir comes from a place of introspection and reflection into my life. #ComingSoon #unfinished”

Back in 2018 when announcing Unfinished, Priyanka had posted: “The feeling of checking something off your “bucket list” gives you an indescribable sense of accomplishment…and that’s where I am in this moment. I’ve always wanted to write a book, but the timing never felt right. With each opportunity that presented itself, my first instinct was always to wait…because I wasn’t (and I’m still not) finished. I wanted to do more, live more, and achieve more, before putting pen to paper and exposing things I’ve always kept private to the world. Interestingly, this year also marks Priyanka completing two decades in the industry since winning the Miss India pageant and then being crowned Miss World in November 2000. In her 20 years, she has gone on from being a beauty queen to becoming a Bollywood actress and then to becoming an international star and a global icon. Today, she’s not only known for her acting mettle on screen – both here and in the West – but is equally known for her singing prowess and her philanthropic activities.
The actress is currently shooting for The Matrix 4 with Keanu Reeves. The film is the fourth instalment of Keanu’s hit sci-fi franchise The Matrix. Also on Priyanka’s platter is the Amazon series Citadel opposite Richard Madden to be directed by Joe and Anthony Russo and Netflix’ The White Tiger with Rajkummar Rao. Then there’s Robert Rodriguez helmed-project We Can Be Heroes and her production, the series Sheela based on Ma Anand Sheela. She has also signed up a mega-deal with Amazon and is slated to produce content for their studio.
