You are an epitome of fitness and now support a platform for MMA Matrix for fighters across India. What are the stories that inspire you?
I’ve always had an inclination towards fitness ever since I can remember. It’s been a passion and a lifestyle of mine that I’m lucky enough to implement in my body of work today. I’ve always been driven by the idea that if I slack off today, there’s going to be someone else out there who’s training harder to be better, and that idea pushes me through every day.
While you were growing up, did you know that your kid sister would choose the profession she did? Who won the fights at home?
Just like me, she’s always been inclined towards sports. She played football, basketball, and volleyball growing up and excelled in them too. She 100% would win all the fights growing up, with an unfair advantage of 20kgs over me!

Ballet.

Maldives.

I love Japanese cuisine because of the taste and the fact that you can still stay light on it.
Which is your father’s favourite films of yours and why?
Parinda because of his performance in particular.
The fittest actor and actress in Bollywood as per you?
Akshay Kumar, Hrithik Roshan, and Jacqueline Fernandez.

Tell us about your journey to fitness and what was the turning point and why?
Like Tiger, I’ve always been super inclined towards sports and just a more active lifestyle in general. I think growing up around him and seeing all these larger than life things he does automatically triggered something inside me as well. I’m a very competitive person and I tend to surround myself with people who drive me to be better. Don’t get me wrong, I also love to enjoy the finer things in life, and am in no means as close to an extremist as Tiger is because I’m a strong believer of living a balanced lifestyle. Work hard to play hard.
You not only turned superbly fit, you also launched MFN?
Thank you. I’ve been extremely fascinated with Mixed Martial Arts for over a decade now. I respect all athletes; however, what I’ve seen MMA athletes give to their sport is like no other. I am extremely inspired by all fighters as apart from their physicality, the mental strength they possess is something else. MFN gives these athletes a platform to showcase themselves to the world just as they deserve. The fight will be streamed live on Facebook, Instagram and YouTube.

A holiday destination you love to go to?
I’m a complete water baby and such a beach bum, so literally anywhere in the world with beautiful beaches, I’m sold.
An advice you will never forget?
Silence is golden. Speak less and listen more.
A recent film you enjoyed watching?
Baaghi 3 was probably the last film I watched in theatres and thoroughly enjoyed. Being completely unbiased here.
