The beloved Golmal actor, Tusshar Kapoor is all set to star in his next film Maarrich. Directed by Dhruv Lather, we will see Kapoor playing one of the central characters alongside Naseeruddin Shah.
Kapoor will be portraying the role of Rajiv, a sharp-witted police officer who lands up with a double murder case. Kapoor shared that Maarich would not only be entertaining but also a film with “elements of mystery, suspense, and unpredictability that set it apart” from the rest.
Maarich, to Kapoor, is a film that challenges him as an actor to constantly evolve as it is very different from his usual style. “I feel fortunate enough to have chanced upon Maarich, which I consciously chose to act in and produce as well,” said the actor. According to reports, the actor even underwent voice modulation classes for his character.
The actor took to Instagram, sharing some scenes from the film sets and his co-star Naseeruddin Shah. The upcoming film will also see the actor reunite with former co-star Anita Hassanandani.
His sister, Ekta Kapoor also expressed her excitement for the film by reposting the same.
