An FIR was registered against Bollywood actor Vivek Oberoi on Friday after the actor shared a video on social media showing him riding a brand new motorbike with his wife without wearing either a helmet or face mask on Valentine’s Day.
Vivek shared the video with the caption, “What a start of this lovely valentine’s day with Main, Meri patni aur woh! A refreshing joyride indeed!”

The case was registered against the actor at Juhu Police station, with the FIR being registered under IPC sections 188 (Disobedience to order duly promulgated by public servant) and269 (Negligent act likely to spread infection of disease dangerous to life) along with provisions of the Maharashtra COVID -19 Precautionary Measures 2020 and the Motor Vehicles Act. A fine of rupees 500 was also imposed for driving without a helmet.
