The iconic production house founded in 1970 turned 50 in 2020 but due to the pandemic, Aditya Chopra made the decision to postpone the YRF 50 celebration. However new reports that the YRF 50 plan will be revealed as soon as February end or early March 2021!
With theatres now operating at 100 percent capacity, YRF will now roll out its long-awaited celebration plan! Unlike many other production houses, YRF has not put any of its films on OTT platforms, stating that their films are meant to be a big-screen experience.
According to reports, YRF is expected to announce five new films and release further information about Prithviraj, Shamshera, Jayeshbhai Jordaar, Bunty Aur Babli 2, and Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar in the YRF 50 announcement.
Besides these five films, YRF has also begun shooting for Pathan, starring Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, and John Abraham. There have also been reports that Tiger 3, starring Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif, will go into production in March.
