Chhorii Trailer: Nushrratt Bharuccha’s upcoming horror movie stays true to Marathi original Lapachhapi

Directed by Vishal Furia and also features Mita Vashisht, Rajesh Jais, Yaaneea Bharadwaj, and Saurabh Goyal

The trailer of Nushrratt Bharuccha’s upcoming horror movie Chhorii has been released. The Amazon Original movie set to premiere on Prime Video on 26 November has been directed by Vishal Furia and jointly produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishnan Kumar, Vikram Malhotra, Jack Davis, and Shikhaa Sharma. Joining Nushrratt in pivotal roles will be Mita Vashisht, Rajesh Jais, Saurabh Goyal, and Yaaneea Bharadwaj. The film is the Hindi remake of the critically acclaimed Marathi film Lapachhapi.

The story revolves around a young couple who are forced out of their city home and seek shelter in a house inside a haunted sugarcane field. The housewife, eight months pregnant, must save her baby from the spirits who are out to get her unborn baby. The trailer of the horror movie gives one a glimpse into the world of Chhorii, the monsters that Sakshi (Nushrratt Bharuchha) has to deal with in a bid to protect her unborn child.

Produced by T-Series, Crypt TV, Abundantia Entertainment, a Psych film, the film is the remake of acclaimed Marathi film Lapachhapi.
