Malayalam actor and National Award winner Fahadh Faasil is all set to play the antagonist in Sukumar’s Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna starrer Pushpa.
Directed by Sukumar, produced by Naveen Yerneni and Y. Ravi Shankar of Mythri Movie Makers in association with Muttamsetty Media, the film stars Allu Arjun , Fahadh Faasil and Rashmika Mandanna while Jagapathi Babu, Prakash Raj, Dhananjay, and Sunil play supporting roles.
The film’s music is composed by Devi Sri Prasad, with cinematography and editing were performed by Miroslaw Kuba Brozek and Karthika Srinivas respectively. The film is scheduled to release on 13 August 2021, in Telugu along with dubbed versions in Malayalam, Tamil, Hindi and Kannada languages.
The film’s team announced that Fahadh will soon be marking his debut in a Telugu film with Pushpa. They even called it the biggest face-off between actors. The production house took to social media and wrote, “Welcoming #FahadhFaasil on board for the biggest face-off.”
Now it is revealed that, one of Malayalam cinema’s finest actors will be playing a fierce villain in the film.

Fahadh Faasil has been seen in films like Bangalore Days, Kumbalangi Nights and Trance. His wife Nazriya Nazin Fahadh is also soon making her debut in Telugu with Vivek Athreya’s Ante Sundaraniki, with Nani as her co-star. Given Fahadh’s body of work, fans already have high expectations from Pushpa.
