Fresh New Talent from Indian cinema to watch out for…

Alaya F

She made a dazzling debut opposite Saif Ali Khan in Jawaani Janeman and won our hearts with her ease in front of the camera and owning her character’s space effortlessly. Gorgeous, camera friendly and confident, Alaya F, is the daughter of Farhan Ebrahim Furniturewala and actress Pooja Bedi. Her maternal grandparents are veteran actor Kabir Bedi and late dancer Protima Bedi. With a diploma acting from the New York Film Academy, she is trained in contemporary dance and kathak as well. Alaya already has bagged a 3-film deal from Northern Lights Films and another film with Pooja entertainment. The actor was in Dubai recently celebrating the birthday of late Bal Thackeray’s grandson Aaishvary Thackeray.

Siddhant Chaturvedi

Life Sahi Hai, in 2016 was his web debut before he starred as Prashant Kanaujia, a teenage cricketer in Amazon Prime’s Inside Edge, which was inspired by the Indian Premier League. Siddhant Chaturvedi, however, burst on screen with his Bollywood debut Gully Boy for which he won the Filmfare award for Best Supporting Actor. Since then, the young actor has been inundated with roles but has picked his films wisely.  Chaturvedi has completed filming and dubbing for Yash Raj Films’s Bunty Aur Babli 2 co-starring Rani Mukerji, Saif Ali Khan and Sharvari Wagh. He is currently busy  shooting for Shakun Batra’s romantic drama where he plays the lead role opposite Deepika Padukone and Ananya Panday. And then there is this horror comedy film Phone Bhoot where he will be seen with Katrina Kaif and Ishaan Khatter.

Manushi Chhillar

The Indian actress, model and the winner of Miss World 2017 was Femina Miss India 2017. Chhillar is the sixth representative from India to win the Miss World pageant and will make her film debut opposite Akshay Kumar in the upcoming historical drama Prithviraj as princess Sanyogita. The pretty actor is also cast opposite Vicky Kaushal in an upcoming film, which would be a part of the Yash Raj Films Project 50.

Isabelle Kaif

Isabelle Kaif is Katrina Kaif’s youngest sister and she was recently seen in a Punjabi music video with Deep Money titled ‘Mashallah’. The video drew applause from Salman Khan who tweeted about her. Isabelle is all set to make her Bollywood debut with the upcoming film Kwatha. She will be paired opposite, Salman Khan’s brother-in-law Aayush Sharma who plays the role of an army officer.

Sharwari Wagh

She gave her first audition in 2014 and in 2020 two of projects released. Sharvari’s first project, The Forgotten Army with Kabir Khan, released earlier in January. She will now be seen in Bunty Aur Babli 2 as ‘Babli’ and has signed a three – film deal with Yash Raj films. Interestingly, she wanted to be a civil engineer but she entered a beauty contest in school and her life’s goals changed. Sharwari has worked as an assistant director on Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2, Bajirao Mastani and Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety.

Ahan Shetty

Suniel Shetty’s son Ahan will make his debut with Tadap The film also stars Marjaavan actress Tara Sutaria in a pivotal role. The co-stars were currently shooting the remaining schedule of Tadap in Rishikesh, Uttarakhand. Tadap is the Hindi remake of Telugu hit RK 100, to be produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and directed by Milan Luthria.

Shalini Pandey

She made her Telugu debut opposite Vijay Deverekonda with the hit movie, Arjun Reddy that was remade into many languages. She then made her Tamil debut with 100% Kadhal and then a role in the classic film Mahanati. Shalini Pandey debuts in Bollywood with the Ranveer Singh starrer Jayeshbhai Jordaar. Her next film is rumored to be opposite Aamir Khan’s son Junaid Khan.

Laksha Lalwani

Laksha first gained recognition for his role in MTV India’s Warrior High and in 2017, played Porus in Sony TV’s Porus, the most expensive show in Indian television’s history. The handsome actor will make his Bollywood debut with Dharma Production’s Dostana -2. The film also stars Janhvi Kapoor and Kartik Aaryan. The movie is reported to be the sequel to the 2008 hit movie, Dostana and is directed by debutant Collin D’Cunha.
