Get Glowing: 5 steps to the perfectly illuminated make up look

Getting the perfect glowy, lit from within look can be hard to recreate when you have to balance between liquid, cream, and powder formulas. A shade too bright, and your highlighter turns into a reflective shield, that’s why we’ve got a foolproof method to get the ultimate glowing makeup look.

Step one: illumination primer
Begin with the high points of your face before moving on to the rest. Doing so helps you get that shine that looks like it’s coming from within.

Step two: Foundation
Treat your foundation like a concealer, applying it across your T-zone, dabbing, and blending the formula only where you’d like to mattify and decrease shine from the illuminating primer.

Step three: Conceal Any Under-Eye Circles With Concealer
Applying some concealer can help not only brighten that area but create the appearance of an overall glowing complexion. Ensure to opt for a concealer color that’s just a shade lighter than your foundation.

Step four: Blush and Bronze
Tap some setting powder onto the hollows of your cheeks to prevent your blush or bronzer from sticking to your cream and liquid products. Then start pigment application.

Step five: Powder Highlight
Apply the powder highlight at strategic points of your face, focusing on the peaks of your cheekbones, bridge of the nose, the cupid’s bow, and finally the inner corners of your eyes to make them pop.
