Manushi Chillar who’s set to step into Bollywood with Akshay Kumar-starrer Prithviraj Chauhan has already signed her next project.
Even before the release of her debut film, the former beauty queen has been signed on for a comedy opposite Vicky Kaushal. After the historical with YRF, this comedy to be directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya (of Dhoom 3) will be her second film with Aditya Chopra’s production house.
As per reports, the newcomer had been very impressive in her auditions that helped her bag the two films with YRF. But while she was chosen for Prithviraj last year, Manushi’s casting for the Vicky Kaushal film was more recent. Her fresh pairing with the URI actor was a prominent factor that helped lock her name.
As for Prithviraj Chauhan, the shooting for YRF’s first-ever historical magnum opus had to be stalled due to the Corona pandemic. The Akshay Kumar film requires grand sets and huge crowds which may be difficult to shoot at present, given the current situation. The film’s shoot is expected to resume soon after things normalise enough for it to be safe for all involved.
