Your experience of high jewellery is all set to change.
Award-winning jewellery designer Pavit Gujral just launched her studio at Dubai Design district, and it is here to change all that you know about high jewellery! The studio and the designer’s latest collection truly are ‘Strikingly Bold, Stunningly Unique’.
Pavit Gujral, CEO & Head Designer of Pavit Gujral Designs is a distinguished alumnus of the renowned Gemological Institute of America, New York. Among many prestigious awards that Pavit has won, is the esteemed ‘Saul Bell Design Awards by Rio Grande’, an award that is highly coveted in the jewellery design community.
She has also won the IJ Jeweller’s Choice Design Awards in India – another remarkable achievement in the jewellery design industry. Her works were also chosen to be featured amongst ‘The Contemporary Jewel as Never Seen Before’ by Artistar Jewels, Milan for the Milan Jewellery Week. What sets Pavit apart from her contemporaries is the inspiration behind her designs, and the riveting thought that goes into each and every piece, that now has a proud place within her studio at Dubai Design District. At Pavit Gujral Designs, each piece is handcrafted and made using the best grade of stones and diamonds. With each collection, she aims to leave a legacy, and create her own distinctive imprint in the jewellery design industry. Each piece is unique and speaks volumes about the thoughtfulness that has gone into it. Besides being a trend-setting jewellery designer, Pavit is also a certified scuba diver – an aspect that shines through in her designs. From her scuba diving adventures, the rousing ‘Coral ring’ was born – which showcases a delicate yet beautiful representation of the coral reefs. The corals gently nestle a stunning Ethiopian white opal within its arms. The ring is set in 18K gold with tsavorite garnet and Trillion diamonds embedded in an Ethiopian white opal.
Among some of the most-talked-about pieces is her award-winning design ‘Dancing Fish Necklace’ which is inspired by the magnificent and angelic Betta Fish, with its shape reflecting a dance that the fish creates in water. Set in 18K gold with over 4,000 stones – rubies grading into pink sapphires and diamonds, the pièce de résistance simply, is the pear-shaped brilliant Tanzanite representing the deep blue ocean. It is a sole piece of art, that is set to turn heads and mesmerise those with a true appreciation for unique art.
Like her exquisite jewellery, Pavit believes in creating one-of-a-kind experiences right from her studio “I don’t follow trends.
