Starting March 1, topping up your Nol card at Dubai Metro ticket vending machines will require a minimum of Dh 20, up from the previous Dh 5 – the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) announced on Tuesday.
In 2024, the RTA had hiked the minimum top-up at metro ticket offices to Dh 50, previously Dh 20.
– A key reminder for Nol Users – to travel you must have at least Dh7.5 on your Nol card.
Nol cards aren’t just for metro rides! You can also use them to pay for e-scooters, buy groceries, clinics and pharmacies, and even grab a meal at select restaurants like Burger King, Mister Baker, and Paavo’s Pizza. Plus, personalizing your card unlocks perks like rewards and security features.
So, whether you’re a daily commuter or an occasional metro rider, keeping that Nol balance in check just got a little pricier.
