The Holy month of Ramadan will commence soon and Salik Company P.J.S.C. has announced the variable pricing schedule that will be adjusted to accommodate changes in travel plans.
Peak Hours
AED 6 per toll gate from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. – Monday to Saturday
Off-Peak Hours
AED 4 per toll gate from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. to 2 a.m. – Monday to Saturday
Free Hours
No charges from 2 a.m. to 7 a.m. – Monday to Saturday and
Free from 7 a.m. to 2 a.m. – Sunday
When passing through Al Safa, and Al Mamzar , North and South toll gates for both, in one direction within one hour – users will be charged only once and the charging method will not change for these gates.
The main motive of fluctuating Salik prices in the month of Ramadan, keeping in mind the peak and off-peak hours, is so that individuals passing by toll gates can schedule their travel plan accordingly.
Residents and citizens going for Iftar and evening gatherings during the Maghrib – the off-peak hour pricing will make it easier for them.
