Global Village Season 31 timings
The opening night starts later than usual, at 6pm. From then on, the park opens at 4pm daily and closes at midnight from Sunday to Wednesday, with an extra hour until 1am from Thursday to Saturday and on public holidays.
The official website also lists Tuesdays as reserved for ladies and families, except on public holidays, so groups of friends should plan around that.
Global Village Season 31 tickets
Prices are unchanged from Season 30. A weekday ticket costs Dh25 and is not valid on public holidays, while an any-day ticket costs Dh30. Tickets are sold on the Global Village website and app, and at the gates from opening day.
There is one change to note. Khaleej Times reports that Sunday now falls under the weekend rate, whereas last season a weekday ticket covered Sunday to Thursday. Check which days your ticket covers before you buy.
Free entry applies to children under three, adults aged 65 and over, and People of Determination with one companion, who need valid ID. Rides and some attractions are paid separately through WonderPass.
What is back for Global Village Season 31
Several favourites have been confirmed for the new season:
- Gardens of the World: the landscaped walk linking the Egypt and China pavilions
- Dragon Kingdom: an interactive walk-through adventure with 11 themed rooms, set in Blackstone Hollow, where visitors help Ignis, the last dragon, win back his power
- The Little Wonderers at Carnaval: an indoor adventure park for children
Carnaval remains the ride hub, with more than 190 rides, games and attractions and over 125 arcade and skill games. Nearby, EXO Planet City groups indoor experiences such as the Infinity Mirror Maze, the Neo Flight flying theatre and the ThrillFX 5D cinema.
The official site also lists the Arabian Horses family ride and the Athens Slingshot thrill ride, which needs riders to be at least 140cm tall. Organisers have promised several more new additions without naming them yet.

Pavilions, food and shows
The park brings together more than 90 cultures through its themed pavilions, along with the Heritage Village, which shows traditional Emirati life. Food zones such as the Indian Chaat Bazaar, the Floating Market, Happiness Street and Fiesta Street are part of the draw for families across the UAE, with more than 200 restaurants, cafes and street food stalls across the site.
Last season featured more than 40,000 shows and entertainment experiences. Parades, fireworks and nightly main-stage performances are expected again, though the full Season 31 programme had not been published before opening.

How to get to Global Village
RTA buses run daily from 3.15pm to 11.15pm: route 102 from CentrePoint Metro Station, 103 from Union, 104 from Ghubaiba Bus Station via Max Fashion, and 106 from Mall of the Emirates. The journey takes about 30 minutes, and the RTA helpline is 800 9090.
Several car parks are free. Paid zones cost Dh75 to Dh120 a day, including one about 350 metres from the Happiness Gate, while VIP parking costs Dh200 for visitors without a VIP Pack. This season VIP parking can be paid at vending machines before you reach the exit, which organisers say will ease congestion.
Ways to save at Global Village Season 31
Last season’s deals included unlimited Carnaval rides for Dh99 on weekdays and family tickets that let four people in for the price of one. Neither offer had been confirmed for the new season at opening, so watch the official app for this year’s promotions.
Weekday visits remain the cheapest option, and the weekday ticket saves Dh5 a head on the any-day price.
VIP Packs
The Mega Gold and Mega Silver VIP Packs returned this year, bundling Global Village perks with Dubai Parks and Resorts passes. Pre-booking opened on 21 September through the Coca-Cola Arena website, and the packs sold out.
Why Global Village Season 31 matters
Season 30 had a disrupted year. The park closed temporarily amid the regional conflict, reopened on 20 April and extended its run to 31 May to cover Eid Al Adha, as The National reported. The season before that drew a record 10.5 million visitors, which gives Global Village Season 31 a high bar to aim for.
