RISING STARS ALERT: Bollywood actors who stole the spotlight in 2025’s first half!

The first half of 2025 has welcomed a fresh wave of talent into Bollywood, with several high-profile debuts capturing attention both on and off screen. Whether stepping into the spotlight from celebrated film families or forging their own paths, these newcomers have shown early promise through strong screen presence and impactful performances. Here are the breakout stars who made their debut this year and left a mark.

Ibrahim Ali Khan 

Ibrahim Ali Khan, son of Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh, made his acting debut in March 7, 2025 with the Netflix romantic comedy Nadaaniyan. He played Arjun Mehta, a middle-class scholarship student from Noida hired to pose as his wealthy classmate’s boyfriend from South Delhi. Ibrahim’s performance showcased natural charm and screen presence, bringing authenticity to his portrayal of the conflicted young man navigating class differences.

Veer Pahariya 

Veer Pahariya, grandson of former Maharashtra Chief Minister Sushilkumar Shinde, made his debut on January 24, 2025, with the action drama Sky Force. Set against the backdrop of India’s first airstrike against Pakistan, Veer played Squadron Leader Ajjamada Boppayya Devayya alongside Akshay Kumar. His powerful and authentic performance demonstrated strong commitment and intensity, effectively handling the demanding action sequences and patriotic themes with conviction and screen presence.

Rasha Thadani 

Rasha Thadani, daughter of actress Raveena Tandon, stepped into Bollywood with the period drama Azaad on January 17, 2025. She portrayed Janaki Bahadur, a poised and spirited character that allowed her to demonstrate her acting range and commanding screen presence. Rasha’s confident performance, particularly in her energetic dance sequence “Uyi Amma,” highlighted her versatility and natural flair for both dramatic and musical elements.

Aaman Devgan 

Making his debut alongside Rasha Thadani, Aaman Devgan, nephew of Ajay Devgn, appeared in Azaad January 17, 2025 as Govind, a young boy forming a deep bond with a horse. His sincere and heartfelt acting brought emotional depth to the character, effectively conveying the special relationship between humans and animals. Aaman’s authentic portrayal demonstrated his ability to handle both tender moments and the physical demands of the period drama setting.
