While Sanjay Leela Bhansali is yet to complete the shoot of the Alia Bhatt starrer Gangubai Kathiawadi, there is already a lot of buzz around his next film Heera Mandi. Set in the late 1800s to mid 1950s, Bhansali has collaborated for the show with Netflix. It was initially supposed to be made into a film, but now will be presented as a web series with the first season spanning across 8 episodes.
Sonakshi Sinha is in initial talks for Heera Mandi and has verbally agreed to be a part of the show. Besides Sonakshi, the show will also feature Huma Qureshi, Nimrat Kaur, Sayani Gupta and Manisha Koirala in important roles and all of them have extremely strong parts.
