Post-match, Sharma put all retirement rumors to rest, confirming he’s not walking away from ODIs just yet. The captain had fueled speculation after retiring from T20Is alongside Virat Kohli post their T20 World Cup triumph—but for now, he’s still got unfinished business!

India stormed through the tournament without a single scratch, taking down Bangladesh, Pakistan, and New Zealand in the group stage before dismissing Australia in the semifinals.

In the end, it was India’s unbeaten dominance that stole the show and the silverware!
