Lata Mangeshkar the Nightingale of India passed away yesterday leaving behind a void that music lovers across the world and her fans will endure forever. But here is a recording of Lata ji singing an English song at a concert in Toronto in 1985. The song is called” You Needed Me.” and was originally recorded by Canada’s own Grammy award winning singer Anne Murray.
